Tor Arne has been collecting old objects and mementos for many years – in fact, ever since he was a young lad. The collection is called Furtebua and comprises everything from vintage items and antiques to fascinating everyday objects steeped in history.
Furtebua now also has a small shop in the shed by Kroa, where you can have a look at these unique treasures and perhaps find something that brings back fond memories or fits perfectly in your home.
You’ll also find a small exhibition of photographs showing what the area looked like in the 1970s, when it was a ghost town, as well as some information about the Old Eidsfos Foundation.
Tor Arne also runs the company Holmestrand Lås og Hjemservice, so he’s happy to offer locksmith services and help with door and lock repairs.
