Eidsfoss is a vibrant historic village set in scenic surroundings between the lakes Bergsvannet and Eikern, in the north of Vestfold.

Here you can explore industrial history, art and crafts along the cultural trail, at the Ironworks Museum and in Eidsfoss’ many galleries and workshops.

The unique workers’ cottages dating from the 18th century were saved from demolition by local enthusiasts in the late 1970s. Today they are full of life, and the spirit of voluntary work still characterises this small community.

From May to November, Eidsfoss comes alive with events, exhibitions and activities. At the tourist information centre, you can get information and tips on things to do.
