Eikern is a long and deep lake stretching the counties Holmestrand, Vestfold and Eiker, Buskerud. It is the largest in Vestfold (if you count the part that lies in neighboroing Buskerud) and belongs to the Drammen waterway. The lake is well suited for smaller boats, and in summers, MS Eikern is trafficking between Vestfossen and Eidsfoss on occational sundays. There are many nice islands and peaceful bays on the lake.

Since 2005, Eikern has provided a substantial share of Vestfold’s tap water, together with lake Farris in Larvik. The lake has a population of big brown trout.
