The storehouse, which stands on the field next to the Bettum Workshop (Bettumverkstedet), was moved from the villa Bekken (Bekkenvillaen). The building was supposedly used as a prison in the ironworks era. Today it is used as a storage and exhibition space.
In the summer of 2026, you’ll find an arts and crafts store by Himla fint and Hønsehuset in Eidsfoss Prison. Opening hours will mainly be Thursday–Sunday, 12 noon–5 pm.
