Hajernåsen

On the hill south of Eikern lies a small patch of unspoilt wilderness, with several lakes and deep forests that are perfect for hunting, fishing and outdoor activities. Hajern and Øksne form a system of reservoirs at around 400 metres above sea level, ideal for canoeing. The area around the lakes and islands offers plenty of lovely camping spots. Here you can enjoy picking berries, fishing for perch and trout, swimming, canoeing and hiking. There are also several other lovely lakes in the immediate vicinity. Out here, you feel as though you are far from civilisation, even though it is not a long drive away. The access road to both Hajern and Øksne is subject to a toll.

Enjoy your trip!

Fishing permits cost NOK 50 per day and can be paid for using the payment slip found in the box at the toll gate on the way up.
