Art Gallery in “Eidsfoss Prison”

The old storehouse in the clearing by the Bettum workshop, was originally moved from the villa Bekken. The building was supposedly used as a prison in the ironworks era, but these days, Ellen Aaby and her paintings have moved in. She has been running Gallery Nelly in Hokksund for years, where her and other artists’ work have been displayed.

The gallery is open during markets and other big events, or whenever there’s a sign out.

Check out Gallery Nelly’s facebook page or Ellen’s private one, for updated information.
