Welcome to an eventful day at Eidsfoss, with a visit to the Ironworks Museum, a trip to the traditional Pentecost market and a sail on the beautiful Eikern with the boat MS Eikern.

Start the day with a trip to the Ironworks Museum at Eidsfoss.

Entrance to the museum is included in the ticket for the boat trip. The museum exhibition showcases many of the products that have been produced at the works and about what it was like to live and work at Eidsfoss. You can also see the exhibition “The Train of the Future – a Railway History Exhibition”, which is about the importance of the railway for Eidsfoss, and the importance of the Eidsfoss works for the railway.

We can also recommend a trip to the traditional Pentecost market at Eidsfoss. During the Pentecost market, the museum also has tin casting and forging for children, and you can buy our delicious Eidsfoss waffle. 11.00–16.00 The Ironworks Museum and the Whitsun Market are open. 15.00–18.00 Departure with MS Eikern from Eidsfoss at 15.00, with return to Eidsfoss at 18.00
