On August 14th, you have the opportunity to join Vestfold Museums\u2019 curator, Hilde Woxen Stormark, on a tour of the exhibition about Rakel Seweriin!<\/p>\n

Rakel Seweriin (n\u00e9e Solberg) grew up at Eidsfoss Railway Station in the traditional environment of Eidsfoss works. She became an active Labour Party politician at an early age and continued this career even when she became a wife and mother. She was Minister of Social Affairs in the Labour Party government 1952-53, and sat in the Storting for four terms and was an important voice for the Labour Party until her death.
